Pets Immunization
All pets are to be current on their vaccinations. Should Pet Sitter be bitten or otherwise exposed to any disease or ailment received from Client’s animal, it will be the Client’s responsibility to pay all costs and damages incurred by the victim.
Payment for Services
Payment is due in advance of the first day of a scheduled service period. Monthly clients – a finance charge of 15% per month will be added to unpaid balances after 5 days. A handling fee of $30.00 will be charged on all returned checks. Clients with a history of late payment will be required to pay in advance before services are rendered. In the event it is necessary to initiate collection proceedings on the account, Client will be responsible for all attorney’s fees and costs of collection.
Gas Surcharge Policy
JoannesPSS will using the US Energy Administration Gasoline and Diesel Fuel Update to calculate the Gas Surcharge (www.eia.doe.gov/oog/info/gdu/gasdiesel.asp). On April 28, 2010, the price of gas per gallon was $2.48 and now is now $3.89; an increase of $1.41 (Central Atlantic averages); we used the $2.48 as the base for our fuel charge calculations. On the day that Service is requested an estimated Gas Surcharge will be added to the service. As long as gas does not increase by a $1.00 the surcharge will stay at the initial calculation. If gas goes down (and we hope it does), we will recalculate the surcharge at the lower rate.
